tnRmdSystemCfmDmUpdateLocalTime

Module: TN-RMD-CFM-MIB

OID (symbolic): TN-RMD-CFM-MIB::tnRmdSystemCfmDmUpdateLocalTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.7483.6.4.1.1.2.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: Setting of this object to value 'true' triggers the updating of the local time on a DM responder. After this action has completed successfully, the TxTSf field of the first DMM message received will be used to set the local time. Setting of this object to value 'false' has no effect.

This object is merely used to invoke the updating of the local time, and its actual value has no meaning.

What is tnRmdSystemCfmDmUpdateLocalTime?

A read-write TruthValue that, when set to true, triggers a CFM Delay Measurement (DM) responder on this RMD to update its local clock from the TxTSf timestamp field of the next DMM message it receives; setting it false does nothing, and the object's stored value otherwise has no meaning. Admins use this as a one-shot trigger to resynchronize the DM responder's clock rather than as a persistent setting.
