What is tmnxRouteNHTemplateNextHopType?
This object specifies whether the template prefers a tunneled backup next-hop or a plain IP backup next-hop when protecting a route. Admins set this to tunnel(2) in networks using MPLS-based fast reroute mechanisms where a tunnel-based backup offers better protection than a native IP path. With the default value of ip, this template prefers a plain IP backup route over building a tunnel-based backup path, unless changed to tunnel(2).
