This object holds a free-text description of the route next-hop template, set by the admin who created it. Admins use this field to document the purpose or intended use of each template, making it easier for a team to understand why a given template exists when reviewing the configuration later. An admin might set this to "Preferred backup paths avoiding shared fiber conduit" to document why a particular template's SRLG setting is configured the way it is.
