tmnxPortHybridIngAccessWeight

Module: TIMETRA-PORT-MIB

OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-PORT-MIB::tmnxPortHybridIngAccessWeight

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.2.4.2.1.71

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The value of tmnxPortHybridIngAccessWeight specifies the increment or decrement of the ingress access weight associated with the port. This active weight affects the amount of ingress access buffer space managed by the port. This object only applies when tmnxPortMode is set to 'hybrid (3)'

What is tmnxPortHybridIngAccessWeight?

This object specifies an adjustment weight (0-100 percent) that affects how much ingress buffer space is allocated to access traffic on a hybrid-mode port. Higher values increase the buffer share for access-side traffic relative to network-side traffic. An operator would tune this to balance performance between end-user-facing and network-facing traffic during congestion conditions.
