What is tmnxPortEgrQosQStatDpdOutProfOcts?
This counter tracks the number of out-of-profile octets (bytes) that have been discarded by the egress quality-of-service queue hardware due to buffer limits or maximum burst size (MBS) being exceeded. These dropped bytes represent traffic that was not conforming to the QoS policy and could not be buffered. An operator would check this counter to identify if egress QoS policies are causing packet loss due to insufficient buffer resources.
