Module: TIMETRA-PORT-MIB

OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-PORT-MIB::tmnxDSXClockSyncStateChange

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.3.2.2.0.37

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: Generated when the tmnxDS3ChannelClockSyncState changes for a DS3 or DS1 channel with adaptive or differentical clock source.

What is tmnxDSXClockSyncStateChange?

This notification fires when a DS3/DS1 channel's clock synchronization state changes. It alerts when clock source transitions between synchronized and unsynchronized states. An operator receives this alert to investigate timing issues before they cause service degradation in time-sensitive applications.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' TIMETRA-PORT-MIB::tmnxDSXClockSyncStateChange
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.3.2.2.0.37

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:
