tPortAccEgrQGrpHostMatchFailure
Module: TIMETRA-PORT-MIB
OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-PORT-MIB::tPortAccEgrQGrpHostMatchFailure
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.3.2.2.0.41
Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE
Description: The tPortAccEgrQGrpHostMatchFailure notification indicates that a host match lookup failed to resolve a specific port egress queue-group. In such case the default policer-output-queue is used.
What is tPortAccEgrQGrpHostMatchFailure?
This notification fires when the system fails to find a matching queue group for egress traffic based on host lookup criteria. An operator monitors this trap to identify misconfigured queue group policies or missing configuration entries. When this occurs, default queues are used instead, potentially causing unexpected traffic handling.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' TIMETRA-PORT-MIB::tPortAccEgrQGrpHostMatchFailure snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.3.2.2.0.41
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
Example snmptrapd log entry:
