Description: The value of tmnxOtuIfSmTtiExpMode specifies the type of expected Trail Trace Identifier (TTI) for the Section Monitoring (SM) in the OTU overhead.
Specifying a tmnxOtuIfSmTtiExpMode value of 'auto (0)' along with tmnxOtuIfSmTtiExp set with a single octet of '0xFF' will revert the SM-TTI to the default which is 'all zeros' in tmnxOtuIfSmTtiExp.
What is tmnxOtuIfSmTtiExpMode?
Selects how the expected Section Monitoring TTI is set for comparison against the received value: 'auto' defaults the expected value to all-zeros, or a manual mode uses tmnxOtuIfSmTtiExp directly. Admins set this when they want the device to actively validate the SM-TTI it receives against a specific expected string.
