Description: Generated when the CPM fails to load the software from a specified location. tmnxChassisNotifyHwIndex identifies the card for which the software load failed and tmnxChassisNotifySoftwareLocation contains the location from where the software load was attempted.
What is tmnxPeSoftwareLoadFailed?
This is an alert that fires when a processor card fails to load its software from disk or network. It signals that the card cannot boot properly and may be out of service. A network operator would see this notification and immediately investigate why the software load failed, then attempt to reload it from a backup location.
