Description:
A bit-mask that specifies what CPM card types the administrator has designated be allowed to be inserted into this slot. If the slot has not-been pre-provisioned and a card that does not match one of the allowed types is inserted into this slot, a mis-match alarm will be raised. If a specific value has not yet been SET by the manager, tmnxCpmCardAllowedTypes will return the same value to a GET request as tmnxCpmCardSupportedTypes.
The object was made obsolete in the 3.0 release.
What is tmnxCpmCardAllowedTypes?
This bit-mask object specifies which CPM (Control Plane Module) card types the administrator permits in a given slot to prevent hardware mismatches. When a non-matching card is inserted, a mismatch alarm is raised. Operators configure this value to enforce hardware compatibility policies for slot pre-provisioning.
