What Is TELTREND-MIB?

TELTREND-MIB is Teltrend's enterprise MIB for its NiQ family of WAN test and access equipment, used to configure line testing and retrieve line-quality diagnostic results. It exposes objects for test configuration (what measurement to run and on which line) and result/status objects reporting the outcome of those measurements. Its monitoring value is centered on line quality and circuit diagnostics rather than general device health: it lets an operator initiate and read back WAN line test results, such as signal quality or fault indications, to verify circuit integrity. It is a self-contained enterprise MIB without an apparent strong dependency on other standard MIBs. It is typically deployed by telecom/network operators managing Teltrend NiQ test equipment to validate leased-line or access circuit quality.
