telProdNpMonProtDLSwGroupsCommand

Module: TELDAT-MON-PROTOCOL-DLSw-MIB

OID (symbolic): TELDAT-MON-PROTOCOL-DLSw-MIB::telProdNpMonProtDLSwGroupsCommand

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2007.4.1.2.3.7.11.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Use the JOIN-GROUP command to allow DLSw neighbors to find and to create TCP sessions with each other dynamically. This eliminates the need to define TCP neighbors with the ADD TCP command. In a get operation this variable can be 1 (ok) if the last JOIN-GROUP or LEAVE-GROUP operation succeeded and 4 (error) if failed. In a set operation admits 1 (join-group) and 3 (leave-group), that initiates the corresponding operations

What is telProdNpMonProtDLSwGroupsCommand?

Writing join-group(2) or leave-group(3) dynamically joins or removes the router from this DLSw group so neighbors can find and create TCP sessions with each other without static TCP-neighbor configuration; reading it back returns ok(1) if the last operation succeeded or error(4) if it failed, per its own DESCRIPTION.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2007.4.1.2.3.7.11.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TELDAT-MON-PROTOCOL-DLSw-MIB::telProdNpMonProtDLSwGroupsCommand

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2007.4.1.2.3.7.11.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TELDAT-MON-PROTOCOL-DLSw-MIB::telProdNpMonProtDLSwGroupsCommand.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2007.4.1.2.3.7.11.1.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> telProdNpMonProtDLSwGroupsCommand.1
