Reports the authentication method the remote end is using on this PPP link: non-negotiated(0), PAP(1), CHAP(2), or other(3). It is compared with telProdNpMonIfcPPPLCPCtrlOptAuthLoc when diagnosing why authentication is failing, since a mismatch (e.g. local expects CHAP but remote offers PAP) will prevent the link from opening.
