Description: Local Asynchronous Control Character Map. It shows the mask to use if transparent transmission is applied over control characters (XON, XOFF) for asynchronous PPP. If characters are inside the frame, they won't cause the activation of flow control process in modems or adapters.

What is telProdNpMonIfcPPPLCPCtrlOptAsyCharMaskLoc?

Reports the local end's Asynchronous Control Character Map, a 4-byte mask marking which control characters (such as XON/XOFF) must be transparently escaped on this asynchronous PPP link so they do not trigger flow control in intermediate modems. Admins consult it when an async PPP link drops data around specific byte values, which often traces back to a mismatched character mask.
