tn9300SiteDualCC

Module: TAIT-TN9300-MIB

OID (symbolic): TAIT-TN9300-MIB::tn9300SiteDualCC

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3570.3.6.2.2.1.1.17

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: Dual Control Channels: Allows for a second control channel on this site. Both control channels share the other channels for traffic use.

This is useful at sites with lots of traffic channels and/or a large quantity of data communications. In addition to the primary control channel the next lowest numbered channel will be used as the second control channel (so long as it is correctly configured and not inhibited.)

When this feature is enabled and a radio registers on the primary control channel:

1. The node determines if it is allowed to used the second control channel. 2. If it is, the node instructs the radio to register on the second control channel.

When using dual control channels, you can have them with the same syscode or with complementary syscodes that have different PAR values

Single (0), Dual-same syscode(1), Dual-different PAR(2)

What is tn9300SiteDualCC?

Configures whether the site uses a second control channel in addition to the primary: Single(0), Dual-same syscode(1), or Dual-different PAR(2). Admins enable dual control channels on sites with heavy traffic or data usage to double control-channel capacity, sharing the remaining channels for traffic.
