t11FcRouteFabricLastChange

Module: T11-FC-ROUTE-MIB

OID (symbolic): T11-FC-ROUTE-MIB::t11FcRouteFabricLastChange

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.144.1.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TimeStamp

Access: read-only

Description: The value of sysUpTime at the most recent time when any corresponding row in the t11FcRouteTable was created, modified, or deleted. A corresponding row in the t11FcRouteTable is for the same management instance, the same switch, and same Fabric as the row in this table.

If no change has occurred since the last restart of the management system, then the value of this object is 0.

What is t11FcRouteFabricLastChange?

This TimeStamp reports the sysUpTime value at the most recent creation, modification, or deletion of any row in the t11FcRouteTable for the same switch and Fibre Channel fabric, and reads 0 if no change has occurred since the management system last restarted. An admin polls this to quickly detect whether the FC routing table for a fabric has changed, without walking the whole table on every poll. For example, a value that jumps forward between polls tells the admin a route was added or removed on that fabric and a table re-read is worthwhile.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.144.1.1.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> T11-FC-ROUTE-MIB::t11FcRouteFabricLastChange

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.144.1.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> T11-FC-ROUTE-MIB::t11FcRouteFabricLastChange.1
