What is sensState?

This read-only SensorState enumeration reports a sensor's current status as one of invalid(0), normal(1), outofrangelo(2), outofrangehi(3), alarmlo(4), or alarmhi(5). Admins poll this to know at a glance whether a monitored condition, such as room temperature or humidity, is within acceptable bounds or has crossed a threshold. For example, sensState reporting alarmhi(5) on a temperature probe would signal that the server room has exceeded its configured high-temperature threshold and needs immediate attention.
