Module: SL-OPT-MIB

OID (symbolic): SL-OPT-MIB::optXpd10ConnConfigLosPropagation

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4515.1.11.1.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-create

Description: This object is used to detrmine if the LOS propagation should be active.

What is optXpd10ConnConfigLosPropagation?

This read-create TruthValue determines whether loss-of-signal (LOS) propagation is active for a 10Gb static transponding connection. Admins enable it so a LOS event on one side of the 10G connection is propagated to the other side, matching the same fault-signaling behavior available for 2.5Gb connections. For example, an admin might leave this false if LOS propagation is handled elsewhere in the network topology.
