Description: A community to which this destination address belongs. This entry is associated with any eventEntries in the RMON MIB whose value of eventCommunity is equal to the value of this object. Every time an associated event entry sends a trap due to an event, that trap will be sent to each address in the trapDestTable with a trapDestCommunity equal to eventCommunity. This object may not be modified if the associated trapDestStatus object is equal to active(1).
What is slmTrapDestCommunity?
This read-create field sets the community associated with a trap destination entry; a trap is sent to this destination whenever an RMON event entry's community matches this value, and it can't be changed while the row is active. An admin uses this to tie a specific trap-receiving NMS to the RMON events it should be notified about.
