What is sheMeltTestResultResistanceAB?
This read-only value, in ohms, is the MELT-measured loop resistance between the a-wire (ring) and b-wire (tip); the MIB notes an NMS should also be able to display this in kOhms or MOhms for readability. An admin uses a resistance far outside the expected range for a loop's length to flag a possible short, corrosion, or bad splice on the pair.
