Description: When a sync byte is missing in a MPEG packet this value is incremented. This value indicates the number of MPEG packets that had missing sync byte per stream.
What is mpegInputStatsSyncLossPackets?
mpegInputStatsSyncLossPackets counts MPEG packets received on this stream that were missing their sync byte. A rising count signals bit-level corruption of the transport stream, often from a marginal RF or IP transport path.
