phivEndMaxLinks

Module: RFC1289-phivMIB

OID (symbolic): RFC1289-phivMIB::phivEndMaxLinks

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.18.4.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This value represents the maximum active logical link count allowed for the executor.

What is phivEndMaxLinks?

This sets the maximum number of simultaneous active logical links the executor node will allow in total. Admins raise it on a busy server node that needs to support more concurrent DECnet sessions, within what the node's memory/buffers can handle.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.18.4.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RFC1289-phivMIB::phivEndMaxLinks

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.18.4.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RFC1289-phivMIB::phivEndMaxLinks.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.18.4.3.1 i <value>
