Description: The number of hops to a destination area. A hop is the routing value representing the logical distance between two areas in network.
What is phivAreaHops?
This read-only value is the number of routing hops to this destination area. Comparing it against phivAreaMaxHops shows an admin how much headroom remains before that area would become unreachable due to the hop-count ceiling.
