What Is RAISECOM-PONSERIES-BASE-MIB?
RAISECOM-PONSERIES-BASE-MIB is a Raisecom-specific base/registration MIB module that establishes the top-level OID tree structure shared by other MIB modules covering Raisecom's Passive Optical Network (PON) product series, such as GPON/EPON OLTs and ONUs. It does not itself define monitorable runtime data -- no interface, environmental, or performance objects -- but instead serves as an anchor point that child MIBs for specific PON hardware and features import and extend. Because it carries no leaf objects, it has no direct role in monitoring uptime, temperature, CPU load, or fault status; that monitoring is performed through the dependent MIBs registered under this tree. It is foundational to the entire Raisecom PON MIB family, so essentially every other Raisecom PON MIB depends on it for OID allocation. It is deployed alongside other Raisecom PON MIBs wherever Raisecom PON access equipment is managed via SNMP, and the RAISECOM-PONSERIES-BASE-MIB MIB is what those dependent modules import for their shared OID allocation.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in RAISECOM-PONSERIES-BASE-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Monitoring Examples
This module has no sample_objects and an empty module_desc, and it is structurally a base/registration MIB rather than one exposing runtime data -- it defines only the OID root under which other Raisecom PON MIBs place their tables and scalars. There is no realistic monitoring scenario to describe for this module in isolation; actual polling happens against the specific PON MIBs that reference this base tree.
