This object defines how a given control protocol (such as STP, LACP, or LLDP) is handled under this profile: tunneled through, peered with locally, or dropped. Admins use this to decide whether protocol frames should transparently pass to a remote site or be processed by the local switch. Setting it to tunnel(1) for LLDP would forward LLDP frames through to the far end instead of terminating them locally.
