rlOspfv3ExitOverflowInterval

Module: RADLAN-OSPFV3-MIB

OID (symbolic): RADLAN-OSPFV3-MIB::rlOspfv3ExitOverflowInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.89.216.2.1.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The number of seconds that, after entering Overflow state, a router will attempt to leave Overflow state. This allows the router to again originate non-default, AS-External-LSAs. When set to 0, the router will not leave Overflow state until restarted.

This object is persistent, and when written, the entity SHOULD save the change to non-volatile storage.

What is rlOspfv3ExitOverflowInterval?

This sets how many seconds the router waits after entering LSDB overflow state before it attempts to leave that state and resume originating external LSAs. Setting it to 0 means the router stays in overflow until it is manually restarted. Admins tune this to control how quickly the router recovers from a temporary LSA flood versus requiring manual intervention.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RADLAN-OSPFV3-MIB::rlOspfv3ExitOverflowInterval

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.89.216.2.1.13.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RADLAN-OSPFV3-MIB::rlOspfv3ExitOverflowInterval.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.89.216.2.1.13.1 i <value>
