When this object is set to 'enabled', the NSSA border router's rlOspfv3AreaNssaTranslatorRole has been set to 'always'. When this object is set to 'elected', a candidate NSSA border router is translating NSSA-LSAs into AS-External-LSAs. When this object is set to 'disabled', a candidate NSSA Border router is NOT translating NSSA-LSAs into AS-External-LSAs.

What is rlOspfv3AreaNssaTranslatorState?

This reports whether and how this router is currently performing NSSA-to-External LSA translation: enabled means the role is set to always, elected means this candidate router won the translator election, and disabled means a candidate router is not currently translating. Admins check this to confirm which NSSA border router is actively doing translation in a redundant setup.
