Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: Trap information
What is pETTrap?
This object is a fixed-length (110-byte) block of raw trap information attached to notifications sent by the device, though the source MIB gives no further detail on the byte-level structure beyond the terse label "Trap information." Administrators typically don't interpret this value directly on the wire; instead their monitoring software decodes it according to the vendor's own trap-format documentation to extract the underlying alarm data. For example, when a PET-MIB event fires, this octet string would arrive alongside the trap as an opaque payload that a compatible NMS parses into a readable alarm message.
