mdmDataRate

Module: PANDATEL-GMSF-MODEM-MIB

OID (symbolic): PANDATEL-GMSF-MODEM-MIB::mdmDataRate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.760.1.1.2.1.10.205.1.1.25

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The data rate at the interface in bits per seconds. The data rate at the remote counterpart changes simultaneously. A data rate of 2.048 Mbps (E1) automatically disables CRC4, sets mdmStartTimeslot to 'unframed', enables time slot 16, and disables remote access. A data rate of 1.984 Mbps (E1) automatically sets mdmStartTimeslot to 'timeslot-1', enables time slot 16 and sets mdmRemoteAccessMode to 'via timeslot 0 sa4-bit'. A data rate of 1.544 Mbps (T1) automatically sets mdmStartTimeslot to 'unframed' and disables remote access.

What is mdmDataRate?

This read-write value sets the interface data rate in bits per second; per its description, selecting the standard E1 rate of 2.048 Mbps auto-disables CRC4 and enables unframed/timeslot-16 settings, 1.984 Mbps auto-configures fractional E1 framing with timeslot-0 SA4-bit remote access, and 1.544 Mbps (T1) auto-sets unframed mode and disables remote access, with the remote unit's configuration updating simultaneously. An admin sets this to match the actual line rate the HDSL link is provisioned for, letting the several dependent settings self-configure.
