Description: Number of sessions with same Source IP, Destination IP, Application, and Subtype seen within 5 seconds; Used for ICMP only.
What is panRepeatCount?
For ICMP traffic only, counts how many sessions sharing the same source IP, destination IP, application, and subtype occurred within a 5-second window. It exists to compress noisy ICMP bursts like ping sweeps into a single trap instead of flooding the receiver.
