dualdrr2xvalueTrippoint2Mode

Module: OMNI-gx2dualdrr2x-MIB

OID (symbolic): OMNI-gx2dualdrr2x-MIB::dualdrr2xvalueTrippoint2Mode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.6.1.2.35.3.2.16

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The value of this object is the current value of trip point mode. There are three possible value: 1-off, 2-alarm_only, 3-alarm&switch.

If module input optical power is higher than the preset trippoint value, no operational difference for these three modes.

If module input optical power is less than the preset trippoint value, 1) When trippoint mode is OFF, no trippoint alarm will be generated and RF output impedance will stay normal as low. 2) When tripoint mode is ALARM_ONLY, trip_point alarm will be generated when the input optical power lower than the preset trippoint level but RF output impedance will stay normal as low. 3) When trippoint mode is ALARM_SWITCH, trip point alarm will be generated and RF output impedance will switch to abnorml

What is dualdrr2xvalueTrippoint2Mode?

Selects what the module does when its input optical power drops below trip point 2: 1 off (no alarm, RF output stays at normal low impedance), 2 alarmOnly (raise the trip point alarm but leave RF output normal), 3 alarm-and-Switch (alarm and switch RF output impedance to abnormal). Above the threshold all three behave the same, so use 3 only where a redundant path should take over.
