drrcurrentValueTrippointLevel

Module: OMNI-gx2drr3x-MIB

OID (symbolic): OMNI-gx2drr3x-MIB::drrcurrentValueTrippointLevel

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.6.1.2.13.2.1.41

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Float

Access: read-write

Description: The value of this object provides the Current value of the trippoint level Analog parameter. The trip point level set the custumer preferred optical input level. This parameter combined with trippoint mode(inside digital table) decides the trippoint alarm and RF channel output impedance.

when optical power level is lower than trip point level(Set by this parameter) 1) When trip point mode is ALARM_SWITCH, trip point alarm will be generated and RF output impedance will be changed to high impedance. 2) When trippoint mode is ALARM_ONLY, trippoint alarm will be generated but RF output inpedance remains to be low impedance. This trip point level value is a floating point number that is represented as an IEEE 32 bit number.

What is drrcurrentValueTrippointLevel?

The trip point level itself, in dBm, set by an admin to define the optical input power threshold below which the module reacts: combined with drrvalueTrippointMode, when input power falls below this level the module either raises an alarm only, or raises the alarm and switches the RF output to high impedance, depending on the configured mode. Access is read-write, so this is a configuration knob, not just a monitored reading.

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.6.1.2.13.2.1.41.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> OMNI-gx2drr3x-MIB::drrcurrentValueTrippointLevel.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.6.1.2.13.2.1.41.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> drrcurrentValueTrippointLevel.1
