Module: NTWS-INFO-RF-DETECT-MIB

OID (symbolic): NTWS-INFO-RF-DETECT-MIB::ntwsInfoRFDetectXmtrRssi

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.6.1.4.9.1.1.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: NtwsRssi

Access: read-only

Description: Received Signal Strength Indicator at this listener.

What is ntwsInfoRFDetectXmtrRssi?

This object reports the Received Signal Strength Indicator measured at the listening radio for a detected RF transmitter, as part of the RF-detection feature's transmitter table. Admins use this to gauge how close or strong a detected wireless transmitter is relative to the listening access point, which helps assess whether a detected signal (such as a potential rogue AP) is nearby or far away. For example, a strongly negative RSSI value close to 0 dBm would indicate the detected transmitter is very close to the listening radio, while a much lower value suggests it's farther away or weaker.
