What is nncAtmCongStatsTotalCellsDiscarded?
This read-only NncExtCounter64 reports the total number of ATM cells discarded due to congestion at this point, for a given quality-of-service category, since the interface started. An admin monitors this cumulative counter to gauge overall cell loss from congestion for that QoS class. A steadily rising nncAtmCongStatsTotalCellsDiscarded would tell an admin this congestion point is chronically shedding cells for that service category and may need more bandwidth or traffic shaping.
