Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: MacAddress

Access: read-write

Description: A unique string for mac address. Useing the format(port + space + mac address) to add a new mac address to a port. For example,'20 0013469905a9'will add the mac address '0013.4699.05a9' to port 20.The switch will return a error symbol to indicate a unsuccessful operation.

What is portSecurityMacAddress?

This read-write value is the MAC address entry for port security, added using the documented convention of combining port number and MAC address (e.g. '20 0013469905a9' adds MAC 0013.4699.05a9 to port 20), with the switch returning an error symbol if the operation fails. An admin uses this to pre-register specific known devices under static-accept port security so only they can pass traffic on a given port. For example, setting portSecurityMacAddress to '20 0013469905a9' authorizes that specific MAC address to communicate on port 20 under static port security.
