What Is NMS-EPON-ONU-BATCH-CONFIG?
NMS-EPON-ONU-BATCH-CONFIG is a proprietary MIB (built on NMS-SMI/Q-BRIDGE-MIB) for buffering and applying batch ONU configuration across multiple LLIDs on an EPON access network — a written config buffer is held (readable via nmsEponOnuBatchConfigTable) until it is applied, and setting the index to 0 clears the buffer. Its objects cover a config sequence number, a config-command action, a configuration-add flag, a table of LLIDs to apply the buffered config to, an apply action, and an apply-result object. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator stage a single ONU configuration and roll it out to many LLIDs at once on an EPON OLT. It is deployed on EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) OLT equipment (ONU batch configuration). Engineers can download the NMS-EPON-ONU-BATCH-CONFIG file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in NMS-EPON-ONU-BATCH-CONFIG. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
