What is currentActiveEponIfDescr?
This reports the textual description of the EPON port currently active in this Protection Switching Group. An admin reads this to get a human-readable label for whichever port is presently serving traffic, useful for quickly identifying the in-service port without decoding a numeric diid. For example, after a switchover, currentActiveEponIfDescr changing from EPON1/0/1 to EPON1/0/2 confirms traffic has moved to the second port.
