What Is MRV-IN-REACH-IPX-MIB?

MRV-IN-REACH-IPX-MIB is a vendor-specific MIB from MRV Communications covering IPX (Internetwork Packet Exchange) routing, Service Advertising Protocol (SAP), and related network configuration on its In-Reach console-server/network-access product line. It belongs to the legacy Novell-networking support area of MRV's terminal server products. It exposes configuration objects for IPX routing tables, SAP service advertisements, and general IPX network parameters as implemented on the device. Its role is chiefly configuration-oriented, though it does let an administrator confirm the software-level status of the IPX protocol stack (whether IPX routing/SAP services are active and correctly configured) on the unit.
