Description: The negotiated KeepAlive Time which represents the amount of seconds between keep alive messages. The mplsLdpEntityKeepAliveHoldTimer related to this Session is the value that was proposed as the KeepAlive Time for this session.

This value is negotiated during session initialization between the entity's proposed value (i.e., the value configured in mplsLdpEntityKeepAliveHoldTimer) and the peer's proposed KeepAlive Hold Timer value. This value is the smaller of the two proposed values.

What is mplsLdpSessionKeepAliveTime?

This OID reports the negotiated KeepAlive interval, in seconds, for this session — the smaller of this entity's proposed mplsLdpEntityKeepAliveHoldTimer and the peer's proposed value, per RFC 3036 section 3.5.3. Admins check this to see the actual keepalive cadence in effect for a session, which may differ from what was locally configured if the peer proposed a smaller value.
