Description: Number of Label Range Components in the Initialization message. This also represents the number of entries in the mplsLdpEntityFrameRelayLRTable which correspond to this entry.

This is the EXACT value for the Frame Relay Session Parameter, field N (for Number of label range components). The Frame Relay Session Parameter is an optional parameter in the Initialization Message.

The description from rfc3036.txt is:

'N, Number of label range components Specifies the number of Frame Relay Label Range Components included in the TLV.'

What is mplsLdpEntityFrameRelayLRComponents?

This read-only object reports the number of Frame Relay Label Range Components included in this LDP entity's Initialization message, which also equals the number of corresponding entries in the mplsLdpEntityFrameRelayLRTable. Admins use it to confirm how many distinct DLCI label ranges this entity has advertised to its LDP peer, since each range component defines its own min/max DLCI and DLCI-bit-length settings. An mplsLdpEntityFrameRelayLRComponents value of 2 tells the admin to expect two separate rows in the mplsLdpEntityFrameRelayLRTable for this entity, each defining its own DLCI range.
