mplsFrrFacUnProtected

Module: MPLS-FRR-STD-MIB

OID (symbolic): MPLS-FRR-STD-MIB::mplsFrrFacUnProtected

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.113.0.2

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: This notification is generated when the final tunnel that is being protected by a backup tunnel as specified in the mplsFrrConstTable is restored to normal operation. This notification should not be generated for each restored tunnel, as this may result in potential scaling issues with regard to LSR performance and network loading. Note also that notifications MUST be generated in accordance with the mplsFrrNotifMaxRate.

Note this notification only applicable to the facility based fastreroute protection method, and should be ignored by implementations that do not support this method.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' MPLS-FRR-STD-MIB::mplsFrrFacUnProtected
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.2.1.113.0.2

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:53168->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (488152496) 56 days, 11:58:44.96
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: MPLS-FRR-STD-MIB::mplsFrrFacUnProtected
