Description: Reports the installed application list and version information for MITEL Networks systems.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is MITEL-APPLIST-MIB?
MITEL-APPLIST-MIB is a Mitel Networks enterprise MIB for Mitel's IP telephony/unified-communications platforms, used to track the value-added applications installed on a Mitel system. It exposes inventory/configuration data identifying which applications are present on the platform and their version information, supplementing the platform's own sysObjectID-based identification. Its monitoring value is explicitly a software-status one: it lets a management system confirm which applications (e.g., voicemail, call recording, or other UC add-ons) are installed and verify their version after an upgrade or patch. It works alongside Mitel's broader enterprise MIB tree used for core platform identification and management, rather than depending on any external IETF standard. It is typically deployed on Mitel IP-PBX/UC servers where administrators need to audit installed software components across a fleet of systems. Engineers can download the MITEL-APPLIST-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in MITEL-APPLIST-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Mitel Networks IP-PBX/unified-communications platforms
Monitoring Examples
No sample object names were supplied for this module, so specific identifiers cannot be quoted here. Based on the module's description, it would expose a table pairing each installed application's identity with its version string. An administrator polling this table after a software update would use it to confirm the expected application version is now reported, or to detect that an application failed to update or is unexpectedly missing.
What Can Be Monitored
- installed application inventory
- application version information
