Description: NAME = ; DESC = The value of this object specifies the \ maximum number of Address Resolutions \ to be cached in memory. (Operational); HELP = If this value is very high, the free \ memory space on the unit will be reduced \ which may affect the unit's performance. \ A very low value may cause the unit to \ frequently consult the server if diverse \ numbers are dialed, defeating the purpose \ of having a local cache. The optimum value \ will depend on the network size and the \ number of frequently dialed DNs. It is \ recommended to start with the default value \ (30) and tune it to the optimum value \ by observing the performance.; CAPABILITIES = NET_CFG, VPN_DISP ;

What is mcmRSISysCfgDefNumCacheEntries?

mcmRSISysCfgDefNumCacheEntries reports the maximum number of resolved dialed-number-to-address entries (20-100, default 30) the device will hold in its local RSI cache; an admin tunes this to balance memory use against how often the device has to re-query the server for frequently dialed numbers.
