Module: MEF-SOAM-PM-MIB

OID (symbolic): MEF-SOAM-PM-MIB::mefSoamPmMepDmSingleEndedResponder

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.15007.1.3.1.1.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies whether the Delay Measurement (DMM) single ended Responder is enabled.

The value 'true' indicates the single-ended Delay Measurement Responder is enabled and if a DMM message is received a DMR will be sent in reply.

The value 'false' indicates the single-ended Delay Measurement Responder is disabled. If a DMM message is received no response will be sent and the message will be discarded.

This object needs to be persistent upon reboot or restart of a device.

A MEP can be both a single-ended Responder and Controller simultaneously.

What is mefSoamPmMepDmSingleEndedResponder?

Enables or disables this MEP's single-ended Delay Measurement (DMM/DMR) responder function. When true, the MEP automatically replies to a received DMM with a DMR, letting a peer Controller MEP calculate round-trip delay against this MEP.
