mefSoamLmHistoryAvailStatsBackwardConsecutiveHighLoss

Module: MEF-SOAM-PM-MIB

OID (symbolic): MEF-SOAM-PM-MIB::mefSoamLmHistoryAvailStatsBackwardConsecutiveHighLoss

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.15007.1.3.1.2.5.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-only

Description: This object is the number of consecutive high loss intervals (CHLI) over time in the forward direction.

The value starts at 0 and increments for every HLI that occurs that is determined to fall within a CHLI. This parameter is equivalent to 'B Sub T' found in MEF 10.2.1.

What is mefSoamLmHistoryAvailStatsBackwardConsecutiveHighLoss?

Reports the final count of Consecutive High Loss Intervals in the backward direction over this completed interval - the return-path counterpart to mefSoamLmHistoryAvailStatsForwardConsecutiveHighLoss. Note: the source MIB's own DESCRIPTION text for this object literally says 'forward direction' (an apparent copy-paste slip from its sibling, entry 7), but its name and OID position (immediately after the Forward entry, as entry 8 of the row) make clear it is the backward-direction counter; this explanation follows the object's real name/position rather than the mislabeled text.
