Description: This object specifies the interval between Loss Measurement OAM message transmission. For Loss Measurement monitoring applications the default value is 1 sec.
This object is not applicable if mefSoamLmCfgType is set to lmCcm and is ignored for that Loss Measurement Type.
This object can only be written at row creation time and cannot be modified once it has been created.
What is mefSoamLmCfgMessagePeriod?
Sets the interval between transmitted Loss Measurement OAM messages (default 1000ms); it's ignored when mefSoamLmCfgType is lmCcm since CCM timing is governed elsewhere. Shortening it gives finer-grained loss detection at the cost of more OAM traffic on the service.
