Description: The total number of IP datagrams that local IP user-protocols (including ICMP) supplied to IP in requests for transmission. Note that this counter does not include any datagrams counted in OutForwDatagrams.

Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the system, and at other times as indicated by the value of DiscontinuityTime.

What is me1200IpStatisticsInterfaceIpv6OutRequests?

This counter counts datagrams that a local upper-layer protocol asked IP to transmit, not counting traffic this device is merely forwarding on behalf of someone else, tallied for one specific IP interface, selected by the row's interface index for IPv6 traffic. Network management tools poll it periodically and graph the delta between polls to watch traffic volume and trends over time.
