Description: The number of datagrams for which this entity was not their final IP destination and for which it was successful in finding a path to their final destination.

When tracking interface statistics, the counter of the outgoing interface is incremented for a successfully forwarded datagram.

Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the system, and at other times as indicated by the value of DiscontinuityTime.

What is me1200IpStatisticsInterfaceIpv6OutForwDatagrams?

This counter counts datagrams that weren't destined for this device and that it successfully forwarded on toward their real destination, tallied for one specific IP interface, selected by the row's interface index for IPv6 traffic. Network management tools poll it periodically and graph the delta between polls to watch traffic volume and trends over time.
