Description: A running counter of the number of critical alert events that have been recorded in the alert table. The value of this object is RESET in the event of a power cycle operation (i.e., the value is not persistent. Refer to ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/pmp/drafts/pmib_031698.txt, for more details in the Standard Printer MIB. Additional information: This object is set to zero every time the printer is turned on.
What is prtalertcriticalevents?
A running count of critical alert events recorded in the printer's alert table since the last power-up; it resets to zero on every reboot rather than persisting. Monitoring this shows whether a printer is actively accumulating serious faults, like jams or supply failures, between restarts.
