Description:
Each of the MSH management general purpose input lines is actually a pair of wires. In order to use one of the lines the two wires of a particular pair must be connected to some kind of external switch. The switch could for example be a relay or micro-switch. If the two wires of a pair are shorted together by closing the switch the value of this object will be 'closed'. If the switch is open then the value of this object is 'open'.
The MSH can be configured to generate an SNMP trap if the state of this object changes.
